Save time and money when you order a new snow blower online with ProParts Direct. Before ordering a new snow blower, it’s important to remember what is involved with shipping the equipment. 

Your snow blower will arrive in a factory sealed container and shipping weight is upwards of 200 pounds. The size and weight of the box mean it must ship on a freight truck. Unloading the snow blower from the freight truck is your responsibility – the driver will open the door and move the box to the edge of the truck. The oversized box cannot be lowered by one person. Unfortunately the driver of the freight truck is not obligated to assist. 

Unless you have access to a forklift or can arrange to have the delivery made to a location with a loading dock, WE STRONGLY SUGGEST ADDING LIFT GATE SERVICE.  Trucking companies don’t expect residential customers to have a loading dock in the driveway… the truth is, they expect residential customers to add the lift gate service. 

Lift Gate Service means the snow blower arrives on a truck with a hydraulic lift that safely lowers the box to the ground. The delivery truck is NOT a FedEx or UPS vehicle, expect a full size semi-truck. The box will be lowered to your curb side where you can transport. Please note, the size of the truck may limit it’s ability to

I didn’t add Lift Gate Service and I don’t have a way to move the box off the truck? Unfortunately, the trucking company can add a redelivery fee & a full price liftgate fee. Don’t chance it- order the lift gate.  

Will the driver help me lift the box off the truck? No, the freight truck company has insurance regulations and policies that prevent them from assisting. 

Can I pay for lift gate service at the time of delivery? No, this shipping option must be added at the point of sale.
